The two-day IMCCB-25 (International Medical Cannabis Conference Bern 2025) will take place at the University of Bern on 13 and 14 February and builds on the success of previous Swiss events on cannabis treatment.
Thanks to the experienced organizing team from the local university, a diverse program consisting of leading researchers, physicians and other experts and from all over the world has been created. We can name, for example, Professors Daniele Piomelli or Vicenzo Di Marzo, who are absolute leaders in the field of research on the endocannabinoid system.
A wide range of clinical applications
This year’s conference will cover a wide range of topics, including basic and clinical methodologies, safety, analytics, pharmacology and technological advances. Emphasis will be placed on the practical implications for patients and workers in healthcare and industry.
The conference provides a unique platform for the exchange of ideas and know-how between professionals and patients.
Other topics include palliative care, psychiatry and geriatric diseases or women’s health. The aim of the conference is to inform participants about the latest evidence for the benefits of cannabis treatment and new concepts for cannabinoid-based therapies. In addition, the conference provides a unique platform for the exchange of ideas and know-how in the field of medical cannabis between professionals and patients. The conference will also feature a so-called poster session dedicated to the presentation of dozens of the latest cannabis research papers, which have been carefully selected by a scientific committee.
