We’ve always tried to present information that is verified by science, cherishing the opinions of genuine experts. On the other hand, we are aware that many patients treat themselves with cannabis on their own, without doctors, and yet with considerable success. In the following interview, we introduce you to a Czech “medicine man” who has been producing cannabis suppositories for thousands of patients, for over a decade. For obvious reasons, we are protecting his identity.
How long have you been making extracts, and how many patients have you taken care of?
I’ve been producing and applying extracts for almost fourteen years, during which time I’ve had around 9,000 patients, around 7,000 of whom were oncology patients. In addition to humans, I’ve treated some four hundred animals. In the last ten years I’ve taken care of patients from 35 countries: in addition to those in the Czech Republic, from Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, England, Israel, the United States, and Australia. They include actors, singers, politicians, billionaires, and top athletes; however, every patient received the same care.
Do you make extracts from your own cannabis?
Most patients are able to provide their own material, I only grow high-CBD varieties which are legal. With such a large number of patients, I’m happy that most can provide their own dried flowers or use prescription medical cannabis provided by their doctors. Or sometimes they’re able to get home-grown cannabis from their friends.
The tried and tested combination I generally prefer is to mix a THC-rich extract with a CBD-rich extract.
I used to have a few THC-rich plants grown in someone else’s gardens, but now I don’t do that anymore. A couple of former patients of mine grow marijuana for the sake of other patients and sell their crop to me at an affordable price.
What is the average THC and CBD content of your extracts? Do you focus on other cannabinoids, too?
Many years ago, I investigated which strains are best for particular diseases and what cannabinoid content is ideal. After two years of research, I gave up that path. For example, one patient brought in many varieties with different cannabinoid contents during his year-long treatment, while another only had a high-THC extract – but they both got cured. Every patient’s key to successful treatment is to understand that their illness is usually self-inflicted, although not necessarily on purpose. And that they must make some changes in their lives. I’ve experienced more effective treatments with patients who were able to uncover the cause of their illness and then change their diet and the way of life that led to the illness. Most diseases are caused by stress, which is a major factor affecting our immunity.

I’ve seen rich people who had extracts made from the best and most expensive stuff available on the black market, but they were not willing to change anything in their lives during the treatment, so they failed. You need to get rid of what caused the disease – or you can’t be cured.
Is there such a thing as an ideal extract?
I kept long lists of THC and CBD contents in extracts, tested in the lab – not exactly a cheap thing to do – and I concluded that there was no ideal extract formula. The cannabis used must be of pretty good quality, mature, well dried, and most importantly, mold-free. But most of the time, average “outdoor buds” are sufficient to make a good extract. Each patient is unique and their illness has its own cause, so it’s not important if they get the same extract as someone else. The tried and tested combination I generally prefer today is to mix a THC-rich extract with a CBD-rich extract. This combination, in my experience, is far more effective than using just one type of extract.
Can you elaborate?
Every human being has an endocannabinoid system with millions of endocannabinoid receptors located everywhere in our bodies. The older or more worn-out our body gets and the more it’s destroyed by our lifestyle, the less active this system is and the more susceptible we are to diseases. Cannabis is the only plant in the world that contains a complex of substances that are similar to those produced in our body by the endocannabinoid system. When we add these substances to the body in an effective way, we’re able to naturally improve our immunity and begin to successfully cure most diseases.
When I started working with cannabis extracts years ago, THC and CBD were pretty much the only known cannabinoids. Now, thanks to science, we’ve discovered many more substances in cannabis. I believe that the more than 1,500 compounds present in cannabis are not there by chance; even waxes and terpenes have their own medicinal effects. Nature has given us this precious plant with everything our body needs. Therefore, it seems unethical to me to get rid of most of the substances that matter in treatment, but unfortunately the medical system requires it. For me, far more important than investigating extracts is to examine the cause of disease in patients. If the patient is able to understand what’s wrong in their life and are able to change it, then cannabis therapy is much easier and more effective.
In what form do you recommend taking extracts? Does the form change depending on the disease?
When I started using extracts for treatment fourteen years ago, only oral application was commonly known. I’ve treated a few dozen patients this way, but the rate of success was not as high. Moreover, most of the elderly patients did not like the strong psychotropic effect that appeared immediately with even a small dose of the extract. Also, when you think of treating children with larger doses in this way, it is not realistic. The foundation of any such treatment is that the patient is mentally well, which was not possible with larger doses of THC-rich extracts. The amount that the patient needs to get into their system, whether it’s a less serious illness or cancer, is difficult to consume orally. The extract in larger doses puts a strain on the stomach, and 40% gets eliminated by stomach acids. Digestion is pretty slow, and the larger dose involves a really significant mental change, however the curative effect is 15% at most.
If the patient is able to understand what’s wrong in their life and are able to change it, then cannabis therapy is much easier and more effective.
All that means that we never get enough of the medicinal substances needed into the body by this route to treat the diagnosis. With rectal applications in the form of suppositories, treatment is more effective, and the main advantage over oral application is that the psychotropic effect is eliminated. Suppositories can also be used vaginally for gynecological diseases. The absorption rate with suppositories is up to 50%; whereas with oral application, we’re looking at only around 15%. Also, compared to rectal application, the oral one must be started in microdoses so that the body gradually gets used to it, which is not effective enough in serious diseases such as cancer, because time is not on our side.
What is the dosage in rectal application?
Each disease needs a different daily dose of the extract. For example, children with autism or epilepsy take the smallest recommended dose every night, 0.15 milliliters of extract daily, while cancer patients need to take 0.5 milliliters every night; stage IV cancer requires increased doses according to individual needs. Each patient, each body is unique, and must be treated as such.
How does such treatment proceed?
After the extract has been applied, our body gradually enters the “factory reset” stage. The first stage is detoxification: this is when harmful substances hindering the normal functioning of our immune system are cleared from the body. In the first week, our intestines are cleansed of everything that is not meant to be in them. A moderate dose of the extract allows the body to cope naturally with any infections and viruses; thanks to increased immunity, the body starts being able to handle common diseases. At the highest doses, the remedy is able to address even the most serious diseases such as various cancers.

The drug is mostly taken at night, because deep sleep allows the body to undergo the complete healing process. I haven’t administered the extract orally to anyone for more than ten years; its use especially in elderly patients is risky because it’s not helpful in terms of their mental wellbeing. Also, their hands get shaky when they take a dose from the syringe where it’s stored, and when they happen to consume a larger amount than intended, it results in a bad panic attack. Such an unpleasant experience then discourages them from further cannabis treatment. I’ve witnessed a couple of patients who applied larger doses orally in the last stages of cancer, and it helped them relieve pain. In any case, when applying suppositories, you need to stay hydrated and watch your blood pressure, as it usually goes down; patients taking high blood pressure medication should go off it.
What about the treatment of patients in a very advanced or terminal stages?
I’ve also happened to treat many patients with metastases who were already in palliative care, and I was able to cure them completely and return them to normal life. When patients who approached me too late to be cured started to use strong suppositories, it made their departure more natural, and mostly without pain, in their sleep.
If you only recommend suppositories today, does that mean that other forms of administration, such as inhalation, are non-effective?
Cannabis is like fire: it can warm you up but also burn you badly. Therefore, it needs to be delivered into the body effectively and always tailored to each patient. Every application has its own effect on our health, so it’s about making sure that all patients have enough information on how to address their problem in the most effective way. I don’t condemn inhalation, but I think most of the cannabis available today, even medical cannabis, has unnecessarily high THC content for inhalation – and every patient has a different tolerance to THC. Inhalation works great if you need to relieve pain instantly, however I’m more interested in the cause of the pain, and that’s what needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
Cannabis is like fire: it can warm you up but also burn you badly.
For example, lung cancer patients are commonly recommended vaporizing their cannabis, but I am of a different opinion. The diagnosis involves a limited lung capacity, which is either due to water in the lungs or a non-functioning part of the lungs, which makes it quite difficult for the patient to breathe. A lot of patients get shortness of breath and a panic attack after inhalation, which is not what they need – they could even suffocate during such an attack.
What about peroral use?
Many patients have called me at night after they ingested a capsule with a larger amount of THC before going to bed. The psychotropic effect woke them up in the middle of the night, and it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. And they asked me what to do – they didn’t expect such an unpleasant state of mind. The panic attack wasn’t helpful, and as a result they usually withdrew from cannabis treatment altogether. On the other hand, I also know people who were cured with extract administered orally.
And what about ointments or various oils administered in drops?
Ointments are great: cannabis can be supplemented with a lot of other herbs targeting individual ailments, and they can really work wonders. Most people who make ointments have their own recipes. There are a lot of variations on how they can be prepared. But the key to a good ointment is the quality of cannabis in it. As for oils with extracts, there are a lot of them on the market today, so everyone can find one that suits them. Unfortunately, there are rules that do not allow manufacturers to preserve all the substances that the body may need in oils or extracts. When people learn from the internet or from their friends about “Phoenix tears” – strong cannabis extracts or oils used as a cure for cancer – then they try to get the ones on the market. There are some products available, and they can partly help them in their treatment, especially if they realize the cause of their illness and change their diet and find a new perspective on their life. But if these commercial oils were not deprived of other important substances, the treatment would be much more effective.
What diagnoses do you deal with most often? What is the success rate?
I specialize mainly on cancer. It’s a kind of rocket science, but over many years I’ve learned how to approach each type of cancer, how to tailor the medicine to each person. In addition to cannabis, I work with many hundreds of herbs that I mix for each patient according to their disease. I use all the herbs and mushrooms that are commonly used in the world in cancer therapy. I make potent infusions and mix them together, which gives a powerful boost to the treatment of individual cancers and other illnesses. These extracts, just like cannabis extracts, can be added to suppositories as well as taken in the form of a strong tincture. At present, I am taking care of over 300 patients with cancer alone, and their numbers increase daily. The duration of every treatment depends on the patient’s stage of cancer.

The most frequent diagnoses are stomach, bowel, prostate, pancreatic as well as breast, lymph node, liver, and gynecological cancers. Brain tumors are also on the increase; I have several dozen of these patients every year, and their treatment is very specific and demanding. Overall, I have a success rate of about 70% for cancers. What really matters for the patients after they get cured is not to go back to their old ways, otherwise it’s very likely that the cancer will return in the future. Every disease is a warning, a raised finger indicating that we are doing something wrong in our lives.
What other diseases are you dealing with?
Besides cancer, I have lots of patients with Crohn’s disease, then multiple sclerosis, all kinds of musculoskeletal conditions, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, burns, epilepsy, migraines, infections, chronic pain, gynecological problems, and post-traumatic conditions. I also have long/post-Covid patients and many patients with mental illnesses, including autism, manic-depressive psychosis, and many other disorders. Most illnesses can either be cured or significantly slowed down; it’s all about how you approach your body. When it comes to cancer, it is crucial to cooperate with doctors.
So you also work with doctors or other health professionals?
In the Czech Republic alone, I’m in contact with about twenty doctors who send me their patients. These are oncology doctors, and I’m happy for their consultations, even in combination with their either chemical, biological, or hormonal treatment, or radiation and surgery. These doctors are aware of the medicinal effect of suppositories and know that increased immunity of patients is very important during chemotherapy. Cannabis-using patients cope with conventional oncological treatment very well, their body is much more resilient. The combined treatment has results that are always beyond expectations.
With rectal applications in the form of suppositories, treatment is more effective, and the main advantage over oral application is that the psychotropic effect is eliminated.
Apart from oncologists, I also know many doctors who are practitioners, psychiatrists, nutritionists, or even private clinic owners. These doctors send patients to me whose treatments have failed, so the healthcare system unfortunately has nothing else to offer them, or they want to offer them natural treatment first or a combination of conventional and natural therapy. I also have many patients who are doctors themselves, and their successful treatments are all the more pleasing. Most of these doctors, after they are cured, naturally recommend their patients what has helped themselves.
